3 Day UK Based Live Firearms (M4 Support Weapons)
This course has been developed by the UK’s leading expert in firearms training Mr Bob Dunkley. Bob has over 30 years’ experience teaching Special Forces from across the world. The course was designed for Close Protection Operatives who deploy overseas in Hostile Environments, Maritime or Internationally.
With purpose built indoor and outdoor ranges, which are licenced under UK legislation, this 3 day course allows you to use live ammunition in the UK, and recieve the expertise tuition from the UKs leading Firearms instructor and the confidence in knowing the skills and drills taught are current and best practise.
Typical Course Time Table:
Day 1, Administration*
Introduction to basic pistol drills.
stance, grip, sight picture, trigger squeeze and drawing from holster.#
Introduction to M4 Carbine.
Safety drills whilst live firing.
Zero personal weapons.
Principles of marksmanship with a Support Weapon
Clean & maintain weapons.
Day 2, Magazine change.
Shooting on the move.
CQB.
Stoppage drills.
Shooting from a barricades.
Clean weapons & maintain weapons.
Day 3, Transition drills from primary weapon to secondary weapon.
Fire and Maneuverdrills.
End of course shoot, Combing all the skills taught.
Clean weapons & maintain weapons.
Issue Certificates. (Candidates fire an average of over 1000 rounds of ammo a course)
End of Course de-brief.
Cryur Belt, holster and speed pouches will be issued on day 1 and returned on day 3. Candidates can use their own tactical kit if desired. Please speak to DS prior to ensure the kit is safe to use.
Training Centre & Instructors
At the forefront of Firearms Training, the lead Instructor is Bob Dunkley, Bob is the UK’s most experienced Firearms Instructor and has taught Special Forces across the world. This Team, not only train Military Units, Security Consultants & Police & Law Enforcement personal, but we are also qualified to offer consultancy and training services in all aspects of Firearms training and Operations Internationally.
The training facility is purpose built and has 2 indoor ranges, an outdoor 80 meter range, Hostile Environment training area “Sand Pit,” main classroom, two training areas and driving circuit. As well as Shop selling TAC equipment (5.11 etc), Coffee Bar and barbecue area. It also has 12 acres of woodland. It is located 1 mile from the A19, outside off Hartlepool in the North East of England, it is set in 20 acres of Countryside.
Our Directing Staff are former UKSF, RMP Operatives or Police Officers with vast amounts of proven experience in the field of Firearms.
# Please note that any training involving pistols during this live firing longs course are CO2 simulated weapons and not live 9mm due to existing UK legislation.
Please note that all live firearms are in .22 calibre M4 rifles, all candidates should be physically and medically fit, and be free of criminal convictions. *All students must sign a Sec 21 declartion as per UK legislation. Any candidate failing to sign the form will not take part in any shooting.
The course includes all ammunition, targets and certification.
Accommodation
Accommodation is offered offsite (1.3 miles away); every room has the very highest of standards in flat screen television, DVD, WI-FI and music system and en-suite bathroom. Breakfast is served daily in our restaurant from 7am until 10am with a choice of English and continental included in the price

Course cancellation. Due to unforeseen and exceptional circumstances this course can be cancelled with late notice. All students will then be offered an alternative date.
